Hi!!
We've grown up just a little bit more. We're still living in sunny Celebration, Florida and loving it!
Conrad recently received a promotion to Controller of the Heart of Florida Hospital. He basically manages all the money/finance for the hospital = more stress. He's loving it though and he's one more step closer to reaching his goal of CFO!!! He'll graduate with his MBA in April '09 from the Univ of FL, which is great because we've got FOOTBALL TICKETS!!! So we get to re-live college fun all again!
Cara has a new job as well...FANTASTIC!! I don't know that I'd recommend working for a large company as in nation wide....there's some perks but not so great! Anyways, I do believe I was 100% spoiled and lucked out with my beloved first job in Atlanta...so I now work for a smaller, privately owned PT facility and I'm LOVING it!!! Shockingly I work with people who are more like me. Yahoo! But I simply feel more respected for my skills and it's more "family-like". You know I love to be loved!
As for Miss Darla ~ she is doing well too! Nothing but lavish hot baths, sleeping all day and sunbathing for this pooch! (sometimes I just want to be her)!
That's pretty much the Deese family in a nut shell!! We miss all our friends and family and look forward to reaching out in yet one other way!!!
