On August 3rd we had our very first appointment with the OB. It was stressful having to wait that long (2 weeks since the sticks) but this doctor doesn't want to see you until you can have an ultrasound to really see what's going on (> 6 weeks). This was okay since we just moved.
So we go and I warned my hubby that he was about to find out that the "turn your head and cough" really wasn't that bad...I think he was WAY MORE than surprised...this part is going to be quite funny as we journey on :)
Well everythings going good the little bean shows up on the ultrasound...little arm and leg buds...a litter flicker at the heart
AND the doc didn't have any paper for the machine and we forgot our VHS tape (that we'll have to view at a library ahaha) so no proof from this visit...
But here's what it looks like - just like every other fetus I've seen at this point!!

So we're excited...nervous and not believing this is really happening but it IS.....
(currently as I'm writing this post it's now Aug 12th and I'm in my 8th week) I am fully sympathetic to pregnant women - the morning sickeness that happens to last ALL day is the pits!! if you were fortunate to get by without this you're lucky, lucky!! I just walk around my house and drive my car gaggin....it's very amusing. Other than that my body is not my own anymore...strange things continue to happen
