7 weeks!

I can't believe it's been 7 weeks....
the first couple of weeks I kept saying that I wanted to fast forward to this time! I waited and waited....had many bouts of tears of frustration, lack of sleep and what do I do now! and POOF! he's so much more engaging and smiles and starting to become his own......lovin life....

here's when daddy helps us on Sat mornings so mommy can get some more sleep :) weird peyton ALWAYS sleeps in with daddy!!

what should we do today? oh! let's do some chores......peyton: "nah"

lookin cool......i don't know how long he'll sport the "L L cool J" look but I'm hoping it fades fast!

One of my favorite pics thus far!!! My lil' rock and roll baby!! He likes to give us the pirate eye alot too.....but he was soo happy and talking alot during this shot!

1st Mother's Day was very very nice! We went out to the beach by our house.....it was warm but not too hot! Clear blue skies and a great breeze....
Daddy entertained Peyton so I could pamper myself with some sunshine!
a couple sharks came to visit for mother's day as well while always makes it interesting!!

Daddy suprised me with lovely roses in every color....a card to make a hormonal mommy cry and then Peyton gave me a new camera to capture all his upcoming moments with! I LOVE IT! So fast and I can get every facial expression and movement.....just what every mom needs.....
well I'll get back to entertaining lil' man! I hope all the other mommies out there had a great day as well

He's precious Cara! Those first few weeks are seriously survival of the fittest. Glad you survived. Mommy & Daddy world gets a lot easier as Peyton will get you trained to how he likes and expects things! ; )

He is adorable, Cara. And you look great! I love the "pirate look" picture and can't believe how fast he's growing. Hope you are getting some much needed sleep now. I'm trying to "train" Will to take his pacifier when he wakes up at night. It's going well so far and I've only had to feed him during the night once for the last 4 nights. He's getting better at going back to sleep with his paci.
