well we've been a wee bit MIA ahah! for AWHILE!
We have been crazy crazy busy!
Peyton is now 10 months old and will be 11 months on 2/24!!
It's beyond amazing how much this lil' guy changes every day!!
His practically a garbage pail - he feeds himself with his hands...sometimes we still have some random finger that slips to the back of the throat and chokes him ahah!!
still need some practice :)
sippy cups are extra fun! we're trying to put the formula in them to get him off of the bottle and we may be too late. Sippy's are for water and watery juice after long walks.....but bottles are for food! He'll pass up the sippy and you transfer the formula to the bottle and POOF it's like he hasn't eaten in months! haha!!
Doesn't care too much for meats....a vegan at this point. Tried eggs to break the cycle and yogurt....yogurt has a thumbs up...eggs 1/2 of them were good. :)
fast...fast...fast....GO...GO...GO
he crawls like no tomorrow!
he'll walk with your fingers and with his walking toy however he gives up pretty quickly and goes to his one true method of locomotion.....speed crawling!
he is standing by himself to hold and check out toys...max I've counted thus far is about 13 seconds then we suddenly get very shaky and POOF down!
so i don't want to work at ALL anymore (now 2/3rds a day, 3xwk)
b/c I truly fear that I'm gonna miss those precious few steps!! ARG!
bath time is a favorite and in just a few short days we should be able to try out the pool :) he should be really fun this year and I can't wait to get him to the beach!
Another growth spurt hit us this week...so we're a lil' in need of mommy time, lil' cranky and perfecting our "throw myself on the floor and cry" tantrums....if this is any
foreshadowing for the future....we're in for it!
His 1st birthday is coming up fast! we're buying WAY to much and inviting WAY too many people but we're excited to celebrate making it thus far!!

My family went to celebrate our Christmas in Breckenridge, CO...we had a GREAT time!! everyone was there and wouldn't have changed it for the world!!

mommy and daddy had many days to just hang out w/o baby....we were ready to see him everyday but it was so nice to just hang out together and not change diapers, get your hair pulled....etc etc....

My college roomie came and ran the Disney Marathon - WHAT!
amazing!! and fantastically i got to hang out with her and all her family - makes me miss my college days with this adopted family

What A Cutie! I can't believe it's almost been a year since we had our baby boys (sniff, sniff.) They are growing up way too fast! I love all of the pictures and hope you have safe travels next month.
