Day 1 - Wilkerson family vacation

So we've all heard about this year Christgiving Wilkerson drama with everyone getting snowed in and not making it out on Christmas Day......

Well they did make it.....check !

and then poof.......OF COURSE something has to happen.......

here's the scoop:

So my poor fam woke up at the butt crack of dawn to make their flight

Conrad and I switched cars b/c the volvo seats 7 so they could just pile in and I'd meet them after treating a patient to make the ride home a little more comfortable.

So we pick everyone up...how great and fun, decide that we're going to get something to eat. So we take off to Red Robin and I get a phone call

Conrad: "hey you need to turn around....i just got in an accident"

cara: ".................u ok"

So we whip around to find that a girl had plowed into the back of the volvo at a red light!

It seriously looked like the volvo ate her lil' car!

So everyone was absolutely okay

Her airbag went off....the boys in the volvo - just know they got hit

So here's some pics from the day.....

this pic definitely makes me feel good.......you see her car and the volvo = the volvo always wins.....$ well spent for the safety of mr peyton and me

the damage......I lost my bumper, her hood went into the bottom of my tailgate so there's a lil' damage there....

and the "teeth" of the volvo got dented so the repair people are now looking underneath to make sure there wasn't any damage down there......

So here's the run down of the Wilkerson Family Vaca Agenda

1. picked up at airport (noon)
2. get in wreck
3. wait for cop
4. eat lunch...which lasted forever with the weirdest and not so bright waitstaff
5. go to Volvo to show them the goods
6. go to the Volvo Body Shop to see if we should be driving.....
7. find out that's a "no" therefore go to Hertz to get our rental
8. see Mr Conrad Deese proudly sportin a HHR (PT cruiser) - priceless
9. finally make it home 6ish
10. eat dinner 8ish
11. everyone to be 9!

I honestly felt bad....I mean what in the world will we do the next day???

Could we possibly top this???
