the loooongest blog ever!

We've been around and around and around the past couple of months. Our lil' guy is growing FAST! He's finally getting some of those chubby legs to go with his cubby cheeks! ahah! A Mother's got to love that right? He is much taller and of course has gained weight but we don't really know how much as I do not want to step on that scale ahha! But we go to the doctor tomorrow for his 4 month check up and that should be interesting......most likely a blog to come....

so let's rewind........

In June we went to Oklahoma. Peyton turned 3 months old! He did many, many firsts other than just being in Oklahoma and all the "hot spots" there....among other he rode on his 1st airplane and went to the zoo

He was a trooper on the plane....we had packed the pump and our whole stash of milk....apparently the OKC airport thought the pump was a bomb and made me open each one of my milks so she could wave the magic stick over it to ensure it was milk......hmmmm Tampa airport.....they just wanded the milk and let me be....conveniently I was ALONE in OKC so of course the hard part was without my partner in crime.....

He did great! Slept the whole time...

had a party with my mom's family at my parents house when we first got there. Many of my cousins and uncles/aunts came....I haven't seen alot of my family in years so it was really great to catch up and show off my lil' guy

AshLynn turned 12 on June 30th so we had a family b-day for her at her house!

Ashie stayed with us most of the week and she, again, was FABULOUS with Peyton. He loved playing with her

Pop (my dad), AshLynn, Peyton and I visited the OKC zoo......we had a good time walking around....Peyton slept most of the time....he did get a pic with Pop and a peacock though...danger

Gator! Gator! He's tall enough now that he moved into his 3-6 month clothes which means he's finally getting into our sports wear

This is his carseat that my parents got....we weren't sure how many trips we'd take to OK so we just got the Air seat that will be his toddler seat so it's more cost efficient....we have it at home b/c Conrad needed his own seat in his car........please note: his car seat is sitting in Peyton's closet! haha! never been used except when we put Darla in it once we got it

the best part of this was that the reversed position put him straight up! he's use to the nice reclined type! haha

I got to spend more time with Jenni and her family this time which I LOVE! I miss my best friend more than anything....

Ate at "The Wedge" by my parents house....we got to walk there and dodge traffic on Western....

Peyton on the plane ride home......minus daddy....i was quite scared but he did great!

1st ATNR - this was eariler in his 3 months......he may even be 2 months

spending lots of time at the beach - this was for Father's Day

he is great with head control and spending more time in his bumbo.....mostly while mommy gets ready in the morning

holding his own bottle......can't wait until this is down solid!

Conrad's parents came back down to Florida so we went up to Homosassa to the park there to ensure that I could see a manatee!! I've lived in Florida for about 4 years now and I still haven't seen a manatee.......now I can check that off my list

Tammy, Amber's mom, and I keep each other company and mainly got shopping which is my favorite thing! Here we dressed up lil' man - he looked good!

This was from today......he is getting better and better control of his hands and arms.....here he is pinching and giving me open mouth, extremely slobbery kisses......thanks baby

So that's about it from here.....he's a normal growing lil' boy....he's getting to where he'll roll on his side but really has no intention or care in the world to roll over yet....ahah! playing more on his stomach with good head control and can reach out and grab stuff! So definitely hitting milestones ahead of the game and behind on some......not worried though...i'm okay with just going from this to crawling to walking! haha! rolling will come I'm sure and there goes the days he's static.....
