The Deese Family: Lots of Firsts!

Well Peyton is just short of 5 months and we're busy busy! He still dislikes tummy time so the rolling thing is an ability but not a mobility at this time.....mommy's still okay with it! haha! He is really trying to get on his knees and then is able to prop up on extended arms....we may just bypass the whole rolling stuff and go straight to crawling! Who knows!! haha!!

Here's his firsts - some are just the firsts on camera!

addicted to TV!! not so much a 1st more than he is GLUED now and can stay that way for an hour! Once a commercial comes on...he'll squeal and reposition....then poof - GLUE!
it's too funny to watch....but the BIG positive is he is gaining alot of trunk control with sitting. He still would rather sit or stand than lay around on his tummy or back
His favorite shows: Real Housewives of ANYTHING, reality TV, price is right, and some show that has TONS of color and lots of noise....don't know the name of it

First time really liking to swim - he'll stay in for forever now! We just wait until the eyes start being rubbed and then we're off to home....I can't blame him with this kind of get up!
This has turned out to be a big plus in that bath time is FUN now! I think he's use to the water....HATES his little whale tub....and I think the floating foam alphabet is a plus for him as well

First time in high chair!
this is before going to the pool and mommy had to get everything together.

this was his very first time and I think he felt like a big boy!! all Smiles!! giggles! it was SO cute!! sometimes I hate that I'm home alone with him b/c I'm the only one catching these moments! But I'd rather catch him than paid help ya know? He's not eating anything except formula. We're on the "if it aint broke dont fix it rule" - great naps during the day, sleeping still 8pm-730am no rice or baby food for him! Soon though I'm sure we'll be there....I'm anxious for what 5 months brings us

Here we are eating with the Brown's in Hartsville....we have the cover and we just pack it all around him! Here he was SO sleepy and at one point he was able to close his eyes while he was resting his head on my hand. HAH! Too funny!!
